Cookie Policy

1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how TradePilot (“TradePilot”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies when you use our website and services. We only use essential cookies and storage as described below. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of TradePilot from working.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They help a site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is being used. We also use browser local storage for similar purposes.
3. Cookies we use
TradePilot uses the following categories of cookies and storage:
- Essential cookies and storage. These are required for TradePilot to function. They keep you authenticated, maintain your session, and remember basic interface preferences. Without them, core features such as logging in, saving trades, and using the dashboard would not work.
- Analytics (optional). TradePilot does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Anonymous analytics is optional and off by default: only if you choose “Allow anonymous analytics” in our banner do we load Umami (cloud.umami.is), a cookie-free tracker that records aggregate page views and a small set of non-identifying product events. Choosing “Essential only” prevents Umami browser tracking entirely. You can change your preference at any time under Settings → Analytics preferences. We do not intentionally send Journal text, Daily Mirror answers, trade data, file names, names, email addresses or payment details.
- Support and chat storage. Our support chat stores only the conversation state and identifiers required to continue a conversation across page loads.
- Payment provider cookies. Paddle, our Merchant of Record and payment provider, may set cookies or similar identifiers when you initiate checkout or manage billing. These are governed by Paddle’s own cookie policy and are required to process payments securely.
4. Third-party cookies
TradePilot does not use advertising or tracking cookies for behavioral advertising. Any third-party cookies are limited to essential service providers, such as Paddle for payment processing.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. You can also clear local storage from your browser. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent TradePilot from working correctly, including keeping you signed in or saving your trading data.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our service or the technologies we use evolve. The latest version will always be available at this page with the updated date.
7. Contact us
If you have questions about this Cookie Policy, please contact us through the TradePilot support chat or by email at support@trade-pilot.eu.
